@blogdiva The democrats will not reach the required level of anger and desperation needed until it is too late. They have so bought in to the system AS-IT-IS that they feel a need to poison the Green party just to scrounge a few % of the votes. Disaffected voters are non-voters. Reforms like ranked choice voting, abolishing electoral collage and killing Citizens United are not on their agenda.

@blogdiva that's all the more reason for us to work on our mental health so we have the strength to fight back.

Mindfulness and activities for grounding and centering, especially during these stressful times.

I have tried asking at group therapy if there are some useful strategies to work on the intersection of activism and mindfulness, but nothing came up quite yet. I'm definitely open to suggestions besides simply tuning in less frequently (which kind of makes me feel guilty)
