Gundam Reference

I finished the #HighGrade Barbataurus this past weekend, including the recommended matte varnish to tighten up the joints. It looks so cool. Color separation is fantastic. And a mecha centaur using a bow is just *chef's kiss*.

Not a fan of how they did the power symbol stickers; plastic color with foil on a kit I have to matte varnish means I just won't be using those stickers. I tried to cut the foil parts out but was not successful.

@augus The power symbols are recessed, which means that you can just slop some paint on that general area, wait for it to dry then clean it up with a Q-tip soaked in isopropyl alcohol. The paint inside the grooves will stay while the stuff on the surface will be wiped away.

@WhiskyTangoFoxtrot That's true. I'll just have to see if I can make my clear red into a mostly clear pink to put over some metallic silver to replicate the foil look.
