Billed as an “Urgent Conversation with the American People”, the livestreamed discussion between the House minority leader and the New Jersey senator came before Congress’s return to session on Monday, where Democrats hope to stall Republicans’ economic legislative agenda. Throughout the day, they were joined by other Democratic lawmakers, including the senator Raphael Warnock, who spoke as the sit-in passed the 10-hour mark.

What is odd to me is that I didn't see this story until just now tonight.

I am not finding it in United States mainstream media anywhere.

This is why I keep telling my partner and our friends to look outside the U.S. for sources of news.

@wolfinpdx @digyoursoul When I'm looking for something, I go to the major news outlets and do a search. In this case "Booker" was all it took to find it on CNN.

If you Google "booker jeffries sit-in" you'll get a number of hits.
