First harvest of rhubarb! This perennial is a standard plant in midwestern gardens. I typically cook it and add enough sugar to make a tangy-sweet sauce to put on cereal or eat with yogurt. (I like rhubarb pie, but I leave the baking to the experts 🙂)

@donray lovely! rhubarb crumble is much easier to make than rhubarb pie and imho even more delicious! (Must be served hot, with custard, of course.)

Good idea! That’s the way my mom usually served rhubarb. I could probably make a crumble.
