Truly surprised that the Trump regime has not tried to ban Conclave, the ultimate DEI pope movie. To be fair, I don't know if there's already been a bunch of discourse about this. I randomly watched it last night, under the extremely weird and wrong impression that it was an action movie.
@annaleen It did have an explosion. Also electronic countermeasures.
@mattblaze I think that's how I got the odd impression that it was an action movie. I also kept wondering whether it was set in the future? Laser surveillance!
@annaleen an inaction movie.
@mattblaze haha but those long pauses and extended hesitations were REALLY POPPING OFF
@mattblaze or should I say ... pope-ing off
@annaleen Same here. I mean, there were some explosions and stuff, but…
@annaleen I would so totally watch a pope action movie.
@sindarina Jason Statham is ... THE POPE
@annaleen IN A WORLD
@annaleen Based on your glowing recommendation I decided I would watch it, and I have to say, as far as pope action movies go, this one is probably the best I have seen yet.
@annaleen souped up Pope car @sindarina
@Ashedryden @annaleen Also starring Vin Diesel as a cardinal who espouses family values.
@annaleen Read the book several years go, and was, meh. So aside from the usual trouble with my hearing and movies, I just haven't seen much reason to watch it', despite the Oscar tips.
@annaleen Dude wrote Fatherland 35 years ago and it's been downhill ever since.
@annaleen There was more action in Isabella Rosselini's visage in <that> scene than in most blockbusters starring the Rock I've watched, to be fair.
With that cast, it's not a heist movie?
