Imagine:
A detective from Luna investigating a murder on a Martian mining rig—technically not her jurisdiction, but the victim was from Earth.
A conspiracy inside a solar shipping cartel moving illicit Romulan tech.
A cold case from the pre-Federation era suddenly becoming relevant again due to new time-travel tech.
Internal tension in the SSA between officers from Earth and the outer colonies—resentments, class divides, differing interpretations of “justice.” 2)
Here’s a rough concept for the pilot episode of #StarTrek: Sol Authority:
Episode 1: “First Light”
Setting: The year is 2399. The Sol Security Authority is headquartered on #Phobos, Mars' inner moon, during this rotation. The SSA is facing growing tensions between Earth and Mars settlers, a wave of high-tech piracy in the asteroid belt, and whispers of political unrest on Titan. 4)
Supporting Cast:
Inspector Kato Okoye – a rising SSA officer from Titan, sharp and idealistic. Casting Iko Uwais.
Dr. Nara Sh'Zaan – an Andorian forensic AI specialist with a dry sense of humor. Casting Serinda Swan.
Director Felix Thorne – SSA’s political liaison, ex-Federation diplomat who plays the game. Casting Rufus Sewell.
Jaxen Kai – Leona’s non binary informant, a black-market broker with a conscience and a past. Casting Paul Dano. 8)
Themes:
The cost of truth in a society that believes it has already “solved” inequality.
The personal price of justice.
The grey zones between law, politics, and progress.
What it means to protect a utopia from within. 9)
Final Scene:
Leona sits alone in her quarters, reviewing an encrypted file left by the victim—whispers of a system-wide surveillance AI being tested without consent. She looks out at the red surface of Mars through the observation dome, knowing the case has only just begun. 🔚
