Y⃒̸̷̝̜̙ͥͥͥngmarLidl (Parkside) plasma cutter, yay or nay?
The latest version has a pilot ignition now. Supposedly cuts up to 9mm steel.
GoatsLive@yngmar I get much use out of mine, that's for sure! Mine will cut mild steel up to 3cm thick!
@GoatsLive That's pretty hefty! Must be quite a bit bigger than the Lidl one.
@yngmar Yeah, it's huge, with a 2x2 meter cutting table. The plasma torch can go to, if memory serves, 800amps but boy does that eat the electrode fast!
I typically cut 3 to 5mm steel, and it cuts nicely at about 20amps and the electrodes last for weeks at a time, as do the orifice cups.
