“This policy was so obnoxious to the Americans that the first Continental Congress on October 21, 1774, adopted a resolution declaring "That the seizing, or attempting to seize, any person in America, in order to transport such person beyond the sea, for trial of offenses, committed within the body of a county in America, being against law, will justify, and ought to meet with resistance and reprisal."
Resistance and reprisal eh? Hmmm

@Jackiemauro @adamshostack yes but there is a land bridge from CONUS to El Salvador, so this doesn't apply irrespective of the means of transportation used
(Followed by the usual dissent by radical leftist woke Justices, etc.)

I'm no expert in the US constitution, but the way I see it is that this was protection against the crown bringing US citizens before a court in England. I believe this will not protect anyone against what is happening now.
@adamshostack If this happened under Biden, the Repugnants would be screaming bloody hell to do everything he could to bring the wrongfully "evicted" people home, and it would be the total end of that project.
Under Trump, it's all self-serving. No corrections are made because no wrongs are admitted [cf. Tariffs].
