I do not see a soft landing or graceful exit.
Pusher of Pixels@Cdespinosa honestly I doubt we'll have had enough pain even by then. Ask yourself how much damage and pain is needed for even 1/3 of MAGA to reject the GOP and vote Dem for a generation.
This needs to be cut out root and stem and the old ways of fixing their disasters hasn't worked.
They need to reap the whirlwind for a while and yeah that's going to have consequences for many many innocents.
Fix it too quickly and we just end up back where we started (as we have multiple times since the 80s)
