Got some writing and emails done, now I need to take a break to move 7 baby goats and 5 mama goats across a 4 foot tall melting snowdrift. Wish me luck!

That was hilariously difficult, though it hasn't warmed up too much yet so the giant snowdrift was still easily navigable. Eventually managed to move all the goats in stages (constantly chasing after curious babies who wandered off), with some help from the livestock guardian babysitter.

Baby goats have reached the incompetent frolicking stage. This is the best!

@sundogplanets The two little black kids have the most ridiculously long and cute ears. Will they grow into them, or always be mini-Dumbo types?
@HarriettMB We compared them with their mamas yesterday: their ears are already nearly as long as their mamas' ears!! So, I guess they will grow into them a bit
@sundogplanets Gahhh so cuuuute! Well done. πŸ₯°
@sundogplanets Great to see this joy of life! 😍

" incompetent frolicking stage"

I'm not sure I've moved on from that stage yet.

@sundogplanets
Video of incompetent frolicking please please?

@sundogplanets

These photos are great! πŸ€—

There's a baby goat standing under the floofy yellow dog! πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ˜„πŸ’•

Sorry to sound desperate, but may we have some video of baby goats?

@sundogplanets

@sundogplanets you are single handedly uplifting Mastodon with these goats, thank you for this service to humanity :)
