Sigh, I think I might have to switch away from #VisusalStudioCode. Seems the only stuff they work on is #AI, to the detriment of everything else.

Shall I move back to #vim? Or rather #neovim. Do I still have the patience to configure that just the way I like it?
I could also try out that newfangled #zed editor that is getting all the hype these days.

One must-have feature is it having good vim keybindings though, I'm lost without them.

@ainmosni I would recommend giving #helix a try. Took me a couple of days to get used to it but having most of the stuff work out of the box without the need of endless configuration is nice. It just feels solid.
@bernh At a glance, am I correct it uses vim keybindings by default?

@ainmosni @bernh In case you're thinking about giving Helix a try, make sure to start off with the tutorial (run it from the command line with the --tutor argument).

As for getting on top of the key bindings in Helix, I created a crib sheet to help me remember/find the most vital and most interesting controls:

(Definitely best viewed on a big screen.)

A quick reference for the key bindings and modes used in the multi-modal text editor Helix.

@bobulous @ainmosni @bernh woahhhh thanks so much for sharing this... Absolute gold 🪙#Helix #HelixEditor
