To be honest, I don't think it will have an effect on the mentality.

After the poulace had voted for #Brexit, one advocate MP (Jacob Rees Mogg 🤢) said it could take 50 years before the UK started to feel the benefit.

I've heard #maga folks repeating the "there will be some pain" mantra.

@pete @jeffowski I heard a simple guy at work say trump will bring the jobs back but it's going to be rough for a while but if he just sticks with the tariffs it will work out because the Chinese are so rich. That's too much stupid to deal with on my break.
