Whenever anyone asks why my "coffee table" is an orange metal bench, I will direct them to this photo of my father's "dining room table" (which I am low-key jealous of).

It's like a setting for a movie where some alien intelligence recreated a "human" environment from a person's memories, but didn't understand place-specificity in context. I love it. It could have been a feature in Surreal Homes magazine.
