@nixCraft I sometimes have disk activity where I want to know why. And it is quite difficult.
I would like a "blame" command you could point at a disk or filesystem and it would spit out something like "thunderbird just reteieved 293 emails in 2 minutes".

@gunstick Perhaps `iotop` might help? It can at least point you to the right process most of the time 😅
