The Democrats on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee are holding hearings about what's going on at VA. I was invited to testify at one of the hearings (will post more about this later) and was told, "If your friends and family want to watch live, this will be streaming on the SVAC Democrats Facebook and X/Twitter feeds."
That the Dems are streaming only on Facebook and Twitter is another illustration that they're not up to the moment we're in.

@jik yes, and the Biden and Harris campaigns gave Meta $140 million for advertising—in a medium that's by design impossible to get independent reports on. That's like giving the other side your flyers to hand out and trusting them not to just trash the whole stack and go home

@volcano Honestly I'm very happy with what Dems did the last election. They held rallies, got the right person running, spoke well. Biden's admin was best in my lifetime on messaging and getting sh*t done

I feel like we're blaming them for corporate media's choices to block and ignore them and normalize Trump, and for the American people's (especially my fellow White people's) irrational fear of minorities, women, poor understanding of economies, etc. They couldn't force people to care.
