@skeletor This is something I need to tell myself incredibly often...
@skeletor they DID vote for this....they just didn't think it would happen to them.
@skeletor well i have no idea what i'm doing. but i do know that i have no idea what i'm doing, so i know that at least.
@skeletor I'm reminded of the old saying, people who live in skull-shaped castles shouldn't throw stones
@skeletor Forgiveness is always for you. Not for them.
@skeletor@mas. to Forgiveness takes more than an I’m sorry, it is earned through action...but it never has to be given; it is a beautiful thing. Hence, most often the people asking for it probably will never earn it.
@skeletor But some really don't though... "Don't believe it's malice if it can be explained by mere stupidity" or something like that :))
@DenisAlexClopo @skeletor I also believe in that, as well as unconcious malice. The question is, how can that be solved?

@JohannaMakesGames @skeletor
Good question!
I am not so sure about the "unconcious malice" part, though I guess you never know what truly goes on in someone's head 🤷🏽‍♂️

I can't tell others what to do, but I just don't take to heart and mind my way, the kind of "Forgive but don't forget" :)

It's hard to talk in general terms without addressing a specific circumstance though 😆
Obviously some things are too hard to just forgive 🤷🏽‍♂️

@DenisAlexClopo @skeletor with unconcious malice I mean biases that we grow up with and don't even know they are harmful until we learn about them, e.g. internalized homophobia or misogynie

@skeletor

If they know you, and say shit that hurts you, they're doing it deliberately. If they know you, and say or do shit that scares you, they're doing it deliberately.

Fuck benefit of the doubt. Protect yourselves!

(I sadly have experience with disentangling myself and others from dangerous people, if you need help you can talk to me and I'll do what I can. You're not alone.)
