@anolandria I think it of it like the right has a big wheel with the names of marginalized groups on it, and every few years they spin the wheel and throw a dart at it to decide who to scapegoat.

I know it is a more careful process than that; they usually pick whichever group they think is the most vulnerable, but to an outside observer not keyed into to their deliberations it might as well be randomly determined.
