Look at that: If you dislike systemd and like debian packages, but want Phosh instead of hildon (on Maemo Leste), Movuan has you covered:

Basically, that's a #devuan for your #PinePhone

@linmob ok and there's an option for other desktops, like #KDE_plasma_mobile, or #Gnome_mobile_shell, or #SXMO, too?
@insl No idea, sorry. Maybe ask at https://gitlab.com/l2385/movuan/movuan-recipes/-/issues
Given that GNOME Shell Mobile a set of patches on GNOME Shell, it's highly unlikely to be available in Devuan/Movuan.

@linmob I don't understand too much of IT, but #set_of_patches sounds a reasonable way to build a #Linux_Phone to me, on #pinephone or else.

@insl Generally yes, but while you can package everything into a .deb, getting it accepted into #Debian (and I assume similar for #Devuan) is a different thing. There's a reason why the #UbuntuTouch @ubports people were super happy and proud when they managed to get Lomiri accepted into Debian; and it's that reason why GNOME Shell Mobile is not in @mobian (afaik).

Maybe Debian/Mobian contributors can chime in here :-)
