A second German tourist was held in a detention centre after having his Visa revoked by the U.S.

Sielaff is back in Germany after being held for two weeks without cause or explanation.

Jessica Brösche, a German tattoo artist who spent 8 days in solitary confinement without a pillow or a blanket, is still being held. She’s been detained for six weeks.

The U.S. is not a safe place to travel anymore.

Vote with your dollars (and your feet!) and go literally anywhere else.

This is especially applicable to my fellow Canadians. Don’t risk your freedom or support the economy of a country whose leader is threatening to annex us.

@broadwaybabyto I will not go unless I have to for work or something which might happen. However, certainly not going to spend vacation money there. its really unfortunate. Have lots of American friends and still like them all but they can come and visit me. IF their president gets his way they won't even need a passport soon. Wonder if appointed president Musk holds the same view about taking us over.

@bmoore123 @broadwaybabyto A part of me wishes I could just leave this country, but the other part of me doesn't want to leave the first area that has truly felt like home to me. If I leave I could be risking my health stabilization too. It's so shit right now for us to be put in these positions. :(

@bmoore123 @broadwaybabyto Going "for work" (i.e. business meetings, meeting colleagues, for a conference, etc) is exactly the problem. Do NOT tell the authorities at the border that you are there "for work". They will assume you are entering the US in order to work (without a permit). Say "meeting colleagues" etc. And if they start suspecting something, point out repeatedly that you are employed at home and will return after a week.

I thought this was basic business travel knowledge?
