Using my #Android phone in #Grayscale mode makes me really pine for proper grayscale/low-color/momochrome interfaces with non-ambiguous UI elements and hints not dependent on hue.
Reason #${RANDOM} why modern interfaces are poop.
I will say it yet again:
2009 was the apotheosis of #UI.
I hope you are old enough to have experienced the graphics environment operating system GEOS a full monochromatic environment
I never had it on my C64, but I saw it on my friend's 286, albeit in 16-color mode. :)
I did daily-drive the classic monochrome 512x342 interface between late 1989 and 1994, and used it extensively a couple years before that, as well. :)
