I sure am glad that UW is so committed to maintaining the anonymity of people in their recent HR investigation report that they did not identify the Principal Researcher in the systems group at Microsoft Research who is an affiliate faculty member and is married to another Principal Researcher in the same group who is a lab alumna and former affiliate faculty member, and also runs the social media platform at https://discuss.systems/about/ and is named Dan.

@dan They even added excerpts of full conversations from discuss.systems with not all users in the thread anonymized. It didnt occur to them that one could simply search for the comment from the unanonymized user and then deanonymize the identity of the others.
