The point of the rare metals deal and the Oval Office row was to make #Zelensky look bad, and to make it appear that #Trump subsequently helping out #Putin was because of someting Zelensky had done.
I don't think it was a coincidence that all of this happened as #ukraine was getting the upper hand.
