1/2 Coming to the end of the stash, the penultimate, this is holding nicely. This is how I like to time it, albeit the timing was somewhat accidental. (That is, I need to drink faster.🤔) The white label was always more accessible and this drinks best now as a pop'n'pour. No decant. TO 2, in reply
Part 2 of 2: That's not to say the white label had no life or didn't improve in the glass--it very much does and did!--but its elegance and freshness are paramount. Add silky texture and lingering taste. I still like this a lot. I can only say I paid about $85 c.2003 #wine #barolo #italy #piedmont
