Die heutige Krise der Demokratien ist eine unmittelbare Folge dieser Politik.

What the Education Department does: Student loans and civil rights enforcement
President Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order Thursday calling for the shutdown of the Education Department, an agency Republicans have talked about closing for decades. The White House says Education Secretary Linda McMahon will be directed to facilitate the department’s closure while “continuing to ensure the effective and uninterrupted delivery of services, programs, and benefits on which Americans rely.” Eliminating the department altogether would be a cumbersome task, which likely would require an act of Congress.
