Letโs go, Iโll drive.

@Anne_Delong @danieltache @georgetakei Somehow I don't think anyone's borders are going to stay open to American refugees for long.
Between the numbers and mostly ill-founded fears of spillover violence this could get bad fast.
If you want out, now's the time. Otherwise prepare to stay and fight alongside us.
Honestly, itโs not just the fascism thatโs the problem.
Strong disagree. Canada is so much better than the US!
The last 4 days were such a clown show.
- The stock market taking a huge dive Monday and then again Tuesday morning.
- #BigHands' 2-hour incoherence speech
- a very very strong BC provincial budget
- Trudeau's very very strong speech
- Even before #MoscowDon spoke Tuesday night, others in their government were blinking and we have another tariff delay
We have to destroy this man: defeated shamed humiliated and mocked. There's no compromise. End all the tariffs. #cdnpoli #bcpoli
And a public health insurance for everyone!
Not as good as in Europe, but hey!
I like it ! Long live #Canada !!!
Their treatment plan for people with expensive health problems is to actively kill them. They will stop paying for your meds and leave you the choice to die slowly from your disease or quickly from a doctor's syringe. They're a kill shelter for people (similar to the Netherlands, btw.).
There is no country without fascism. Ignoring this makes it possible for them to spread the fascism further and further. Fascism plus gaslighting and you're doing their propaganda for them.
And celebrating a whole ass country like this is nationalism.
@Antimony I think the nationalism aspect was more of a joke than serious -- but yeah, here again we see the "choice between evils" phenomenon at work, serving to normalize the "lesser evil" as acceptable.
i.e.: Canada's healthcare is clearly better than here in the US -- but only because ours in the US sucks so very badly.
We already needed a revolution before the current coup happened...
Sure, and I didn't write a serious reply like that to someone's poor attempt at "just a joke" but to the post of a very popular account with a long tail of comments by people who just loved to go with the "fascism free" nationalism. :|
I'm also aware that probably everyone who left their heil Canadas there will sneer at me for "not getting the joke". But well. That's how this world works. I'm aware.
@Antimony Ahh yeah, I get what you mean -- it was time for a counterpoint. (I often wish there was a way to reply to multiple comments, because more than one of them are repeating the thing you want to comment on.)
