#RAMENTIME comes after my weekly cardio/heart health session at the gym (Tuesday is back maintenance, Saturday is lifting, currently bench) and I think you can see it here…
One of the few bits of good news to come out of the #TransientIschaemicAttack I had on 1/09/2023 was seeing a cardiologist post an ultrasound of the heart to be told: “so long as you maintain reasonable diet and exercise I won’t need to see you again.”
Given that I was being told this at 56, 6 years OLDER than my father was when HE died of a heart attack, this was absolutely fucking FABULOUS news for a male of my family and generation.
But I see no reason to get cocky about this. Devoting one exercise session a week to heart health seems like a good precautionary measure to me. #PostTransientIschaemicAttack

Plus, you know, there’s a shrine visit in my near future with 1618 stairs. Plus the Senbon Torii in Kyoto… #CherryBlossoms2025

So some cardio training ahead of that seems wise. ish.
