Siff@itsfoss @chrishuck For many years I used the #Knoppix’s Live CDs for fixing/rescuing stuff from non-bootable/loaded with viruses/bloated, etc. Windows PCs (you probably guessed that I’m the “family IT guy”). When Knoppix updates stopped in 2021, I started looking for a replacement. Since I don’t have direct access to most of these PCs, I need something that is “plug-and-play” with minimum instructions via FaceTime/Skype, etc. (1/2)
So I tried Debian, Arch, Manjaro, Puppy, etc. etc., but all had some issues - either drivers were missing or weren’t working properly or not working all… Only Mint (🤞) fit the bill so far and I’m hoping that it will keep working well in the future! 🙂 (2/2)
