A new systematic review on neurodivergent PhD students analyses 31 peer-reviewed articles, highlighting key challenges and strengths. Executive functioning difficulties, time blindness, task switching, and overwhelm, pose significant barriers, while hyperfocus, creativity and deep thinking are clear strengths.
