It is typical

Complaining that #Zelenskyy does not wear a suit but if he would, they would complain about him spending war money on his wardrobe

#Trump and his goons would even sell their own moms if they could

@stux

Again, he's cool with Saudi men in white dresses

I'm sure those dresses have large pockets with gold bars in them.

@stux Haven't they already?
@ScriptFanix Yeah im already afraid of the reply stories where they did
@stux Also, he currently is a warchief... What kind of warchief wears a suit?

@ScriptFanix I got a suit for him...

Has a nice dangle thing on the bottom

@stux Was talking bout Zelensky

@ScriptFanix ohh! Well, also for him..

An Iron Man suit would be nice

@stux Aha yeah, that's more like it.

I'm not sure his intentions when rising to power were good, and we'll probably never know (the path from being a TV star to a political leader is a bit weird). But he sure is the right man for Ukraine in that war!

@stux He'll clearly be remembered in textbooks
@stux OK, De Gaulle did, but he was not in the country where the war was actually happening
@stux The comment about #Zelenskiys dressing up just tells all about Trump's values. He only understand one thing and that is 💰
@stux trump actually did

@stux

"F" Project Traitors 2025!

@stux

A suit is a symbol for Trump & his billionaire backers.

It says to their audience that money matters more than people.

Zelenskyy has the opposite message and it infuriates Republicans.

@stux in the face of a narcissist one thing matters, and that is whether the other person outshines them. The approved garb for Z would be a suit, but of inferior quality. It shows one is subjugated but intends to fit in, with servitude. The issue they have with the military style sweater is that they think it outshines them based on rules they cannot fathom. Hence the anger over it all.
@clusterfcku @stux Or just that Zelensky outshines them by being a fiercer warchief than them? one who's actually in danger and not bombing civilians thousands of kilometers away? Just a thought...
@stux How come they never complain about Musk turning up at cabinet meetings wearing a Tshirt? Or doesn't that count. What a bunch of hypocrites.

@stux The best remark regarding this topic I stumbled across these days is:

- Zelenskyy: man without suit
- Trump administration: suits without men

@stux Honestly i'm warming up to Trump. I support Ukraine, but why didn't Europe fight this hard against Putin when it started? Why has the US provided nearly all pf the munitions? Europeans are acting mad because Americans aren't paying the bill anymore. They won't even go dutch on a european invasion. Is all their good for whining? Are these really "defense allies"? Or are they unhelpful and ungrateful moochers who don't even like Americans?
@stux

I think VZ's choice and the reasons for it are laudable.

At least he is not wearing a Dress Uniform he has not earned; unlike most Presidents.

The world was warned what MAGA was up to, now it's happened, the bigger question is how we defend ourselves against the USA.

Obviously exclude them from the Five Eyes!
Perhaps replace them with France, we share a lot of intel anyway for obvious reasons and despite the fact we (UK / France) bicker like children, we love each other really and have indissoluble links.
Maybe extend to select other European countries.

Then find alternative ways to control our nukes - the US Satellite system is used at present, if only to stop them being redirected or falsely laundhed (it could happen).

Then actually USE the Council of Europe, from which Russia quit before being expelled, to help for once.

I am TERRIFIED by the UK cretins wanting us to withdraw from the ECHR, of which WE wrote about 70 percent. Admittedly it is almost word for word a repeat of the UN UDHR which we also helped to write.
@stux
A suit doesn't show the true character of a man. Trump and Vance wore suits. Didn't change their character.
@stux Given what Trump did for his late ex-wife Ivana's grave site, yes, they probably would.
