If you are -paying somebody- for support, you would not intentionally turn your question into a puzzle.

Why do people think this is okay to do when the support is free?

@habbie I sometimes wonder if it is because they have NDAs, but forget that it really means they should pay for support then.
@cmouse I've noticed about an equal split between "oh sorry I really can't give you this but I understand", "oh sorry here is the actual stuff", and absolutely unhinged rage at the DEMANDS we dare to put on somebody for getting free support
@habbie @cmouse I wonder how many of those "hidden" domains actually use certificate transparency issued certificate, which leaks used name immediately.
@habbie oh i can help with that issue!

@habbie @jpmens

Fortunately, when providing free support, I have no qualms with replying, "I'm sorry, you've provided insufficient information to be able to help you" and just moving on ☺

@gumnos @habbie @jpmens

I like to quote Isaac Asimov:

Insufficient information for meaningful answer

@habbie did they send to you as a screenshot?
Those are always pretty sweet
@BillJelavich @habbie even better is a photo of a screen 🙃
@jelu @habbie i do that with my team, as i am a monster.
@jelu @BillJelavich both of those are better than vague descriptions of what somebody might be seeing ;)
