What's the best thing you've read today? Mine's this, from Marisa Kabas on bsky:

"This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source."

"Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs."

Spoiler: It's a video of Trump sucking on Elon's toes, with text over top that says: "Long live the real king."

Bluesky Social

@briankrebs Because Mastodon posts tend to be ephemeral and because I no longer trust corporate social media AT ALL for any kind of longer-term curation of politically-sensitive material of cultural importance, I have captured Marisa's video and Bluesky post on Erosblog:

https://www.erosblog.com/2025/02/24/sucking-the-kings-toes/

#ToeSucking #Trump #Musk #King #RealKing #DonaldTrump #ElonMusk #FootFetish #Toes #Sucking #HUD #RTO #ReturnToOffice #ToeFetish #AI #Fake #Celeb #CelebrityFake

@briankrebs It looks like my impulse to memorialize this on ErosBlog was a sound one; Marisa's post on BlueSky has already been deleted.

Bluesky Deletes AI Protest Video of Trump Sucking Musk's Toes, Calls It 'Non-Consensual Explicit Material'

Bluesky has deleted the most viral post reporting on an internal government protest agains the President of the United States and the world's richest man.

404 Media
@briankrebs @ErosBlog the post seems to be restored
@rrgeorge @briankrebs Robert, the 404 Media article did say that the takedown had been appealed.
@ErosBlog @rrgeorge i couldn't read it. did it say appealed or reversed?
@briankrebs @rrgeorge The 404 article says "Kabas is challenging the deletion."
@ErosBlog yeah, it says that it’s being challenged, not that it was successful. But it appears that it was, since I can see the link @briankrebs originally posted. (I don’t have a bsky account, so I don’t know if it’s different for folks that are logged in)
@rrgeorge @briankrebs Robert, reporting on these stories is like shooting at a constantly moving target. Yesterday, Marisa's post at BlueSky was up. Then BlueSky took it down. Then she appealed. Then 404 reported, and asked BlueSky for comment. Then I posted. Then the link came back up. We may or may not see further comment from Marisa, or BlueSky, or an update from 404. These stories evolve in real time. That's why real journalists (which I am not) earn real salaries covering them well.
@ErosBlog @briankrebs 100% agree.
I was just adding commentary that it appears the challenge was successful (at least, currently)
I also appreciate the foresight to memorialize the original post as you did, because you never know with these things, these days.
