i heard you like escape rooms.....

@nixCraft *Types :q* ;-; all it did was typed ":q" into the file.

 I'll never escape

@nixCraft
"type :q<Enter> to exit"
@nixCraft ZQ if you don’t want to save and ZZ if you do.
@nixCraft no matter the room I normally escape. 😼
@nixCraft If you hit ctrl-z do you enter the upside down escape room?
@nixCraft Please stop. ViM is so much better than nano, but lazy to learn is the issue.
@terrorpup @nixCraft And micro is even better
@nixCraft
In the modern era of computer multitasking, no one needs to quit Vim—ever.
@nixCraft this joke never gets old. The first time I ever opened Vim I actually couldn’t exit it lol
@nixCraft Wait... Is this Deepin?
@nixCraft C-z kill %% RET. Works every time.
@nixCraft What's funny is that I grew up using VIM, so I never knew what the confusion about it was. Ever since I was like 8, but father started teaching me some simple Bash things, and VIM was the text editor we'd use. The best part is that I had trouble exiting Nano when I first started using it.
@nixCraft First you have to Escape to escape. 😏
@nixCraft
`man vi`
`use :q to exit`
`vi`
how i exit
