#FollowTheMoney requested access to an unredacted version of #X’s first #DigitalServicesAct risk report from the @EUCommission – a request that the EU executive denied.

After the request, the Commission updated its internal rules to generally presume such reports to be confidential.

The European #Ombudsman found this to be “unreasonable” and that it amounted to maladministration.

When our political class claim that we need to attend to the needs & interests of the rich because if we don't they'll move, or stop innovating, or become disincentivized.... what I actually hear is a dismissal, a downgrading & a general devaluing of the work the rest of society's (real) workers do to keep the UK working day in day out.

In the world of pandering to the rich, normal people are seen as second class, second-level contributors to society.

There is a little-publicised feature in PeerTube which lets servers subscribe to a shared "allowlist" of good servers to federate with. (You can also manually federate with additional servers that aren't on the list.)

Would there be any interest in setting up such a shared list so that PeerTube admins can easily find other nice/safe servers to federate with?
