It appears, UK Prime Minister Starmer still has not understood, the US is out of the alliance. Starmer:

"The UK will work to ensure we keep the US and Europe together. We cannot allow any divisions in the alliance to distract from the external enemies we face."

In my view, the solution is not to fantasize that Trump could be Biden. The solution is to realize that the US that was is gone, and Europe must now carry the torch of freedom on its own.

The USA has NEVER sought to help the UK without extracting benefit for itself. Remember, the UK didn't finish paying the US for its World War 2 support until 2006.
Now USA has installed a criminal as its leader who is running the entire state apparatus as if it's a mafia operation, and Don the Con starts by throwing his allies under the bus.
Starmer is an idiot if he can't read the room. 47 will turn nasty if he doesn't get the NHS for USA. Do you trust Starmer to stand up against him?

@paulb3017 @randahl Starmer's not an idiot. He's fully aware that Trump wants the NHS, and he's more than happy to give it straight to him.
