@itchi5 well it looks like @lokjo uses a VERY outdated version of #OpenStreetMap data...

Maybe better use the original?

@schenklklopfer could you figure out how outdated? There's edits I made maybe four or months ago that aren't present. The thing I found weird is this error saying they don't support the co-op supermarket chain. I assume technologically support, rather than philosophically.

@jmbmkn what I first interpreted as very outdated data is more very low detail...
I started mapping my home about two years ago. Some relatively new structural changes are there but WAY too less detail...
Have a look on the screenshots.

Their copy is at least 4 weeks old, due to structural changes on other buildings aren't there yet.

@owiecc Well that's me informed, glad it's this way round, they don't support big brands to support local business and not the way I assumed - they only support the big chains and brands

What I know from them is they're using up to date OSM, maybe double check?

The original openstreetmap is for developing purposes and therefor has a UI from the 80's, which makes using it a bit difficult.

4 Weeks is -for me- pretty updated so I stick with Lokjo.

Osmand is well known and a good replacement but uses the outdated graphical map, and I just prefer a newer version.
