@catsalad reminds me of Cala Tuent...
@catsalad Where would I find that lake?

@st4f2n *points* By that mountain.

(Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park, Montana, US)

@catsalad Thanks. Looks amazing. Almost unreal.
@catsalad gorgeous ๐Ÿ˜
@catsalad When you first see it, does that stone look naturally colored or dyed?

@ArisFoo @catsalad
Like someone else has commented under the post, it looks like the photo was edited to increase the contrast and make the rocks look more colorful.

That said, I found a few images online that I think accurately reflect what the rocks look like in person, and they're still very pretty!

@catsalad, where was this photo taken? It looks super peaceful and relaxing. I want to go there.
@catsalad This photo, although beautiful, is shot with filters to enhance the colors. Glacier is much greener than this photo represents it. It almost looks like it could be in the desert. Glacier National Park is in Montana bordering Canada.
@redbob111 I figured as much, though I still love those rocks!
@catsalad pretty rocks! ๐Ÿคฉ

@catsalad

Looks beautiful and cold.

@catsalad this makes me desire shiny pebbles with which to line my nest
@catsalad a bit distressing to see those peaks snowless
@catsalad
Is this the lake where all the aquarium gravel comes from?
@catsalad I used to live near Lake Mcdonald! I don't have any photos of the pretty rocks (sadly) but I do have a photo taken from a different spot on that same beach during the winter.
@sphereon @catsalad one of the national parks I'd love to visit!
@catsalad
This must be how my countertops got their start!
@catsalad my new wallpaper ๐Ÿ˜
@catsalad great photo! Iโ€™m lucky enough to still live near it. Eagerly awaiting warmer weatherโ€ฆ
