@AzulCrescent thank you for this wonderful comic. This echoes such a beautiful sentiment.
I often say it like this:
The universe is cold and uncaring, so all the warmth and love must come from each of us.
There is so much more I could say, as I sit here, slightly teary-eyed, of what I think, hope, and believe.
But I will leave it at the thank you, and look forward to your next comic.

@crypticcelery Thank you very much for the alt! and yes, its so hard to be a human already with how frail and mortal we are, and its sad that people make it harder for everyone involved. I just think the world could be nicer if everyone was nicer you know. Thanks again!

Also, yes to that. The beauty of a single life is so fleeting, and yet there are those who refuse to see it for some people, just because they are different. It is profoundly sad that they cannot or do not want to see this. The world would be nicer if they would.

Nessie Artemis@AzulCrescent I don't if I'm good or bad person. All I do is trying to do as less problems around me as possible, even if the cost is my own well-being also I can't lie. I just exists trying to avoid people who doesn't fit my small world.

K~@AzulCrescent From what I can tell, I'd say you're a good person. I suppose what you said in the last two panels aligns with what I think is good. ("Don't make it worse" is basically my guiding life principle.)

We as humans, flawed as we are, can't actually be, or even really comprehend, ‘absolute good’. It simply isn't possible.
But that doesn't stop us trying to be the best we can be, from considering our actions, from reflecting on them, and seeking to make amends when we fall short. Because we will fall short, and that's okay, what matters is that when we do we act with humility and continue to work on ourselves in the face of it.
Those that claim to be without fault though, they are truly lost. ‘and their arrogance is an abomination to the Lord’.
It's a shame so many ‘true believers’ don't understand this at all.
JWarner@purple @AzulCrescent there are a lot of people that have problems with the Bible because of the way it condones polygamy, slavery, children and family as chattel of the husband, etc. The nice parts get lost in the thundering assholes parts. (Not just Paul.)

kolya@AzulCrescent this is great but it stops short of acknowledging your own evil. in the end you just revert to another definition of being "good" that's no different to those other people. there is no way to live in which you don't harm anyone. if you think that you're just closing your eyes like everyone else.
@kolya I did consider putting in a point about how I am capable of evil and sin just as anyone else, so the best I can do is just try, and that with human existence, it’s really not possible to not cause harm intentionally or unintentionally. There’s a lot of nuance ofc but only so much a 6 panel comic can contain to convey it properly lol
