This link has been taken down from the NASA site by someone who probably told themselves as a kid that they would have stood up to the Nazis in the 1930s: https://www.nasa.gov/universe/nasa-intern-found-hope-in-the-moon-2 Here's the story that Musk and Trump and their goons are so afraid to let you read https://scitechdaily.com/nasa-intern-found-hope-in-the-moon/
@gvwilson you can find nearly all missing .gov websites archived by replacing .gov with .govwayback.com
For example this website still lives here

@lpryszcz @gvwilson Thank you for sharing this. I couldn't remember the link.
@jessesealand @gvwilson it took me a moment as well 😅
@lpryszcz @gvwilson This preservation is so important. Heartbreakingly, as the content recedes into the distance of time, we'll never know what would have been created and shared as time marched on. There are bigger, more extistential endeavors than this also under attack (like health, climate change prevention, and human rights) but we shouldn't ignore these narratives.
@lpryszcz @gvwilson Would you mind if I shared this on Facebook and Bluesky?
@timgatewood @gvwilson not at all, please share

@lpryszcz @gvwilson
Tried this to see if it would recover the recently deleted CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) website. Works great!!

https://www.consumerfinance.gov/ --> consumerfinance.govwayback.com

I guess the DEI statement on their website was just too much for MAGA to swallow. Though one has to wonder how many MAGAts benefitted from the practice and why they're not speaking up in its defense.

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

The CFPB's vision is a consumer finance marketplace that works for American consumers, responsible providers, and the economy as a whole.

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
@lpryszcz @gvwilson This might be very important in the long run

@lpryszcz
Oooooh, I knew they've been trying to archive everything, but I didn't know about this super simple URL replacement they set up. That's awesome!

@gvwilson

@lpryszcz @gvwilson I looked for her highlight article but did not find it in the link you have provided.
@sergiodomeyko @gvwilson this didn't work for you?
Still works for me. You need to scroll to the bottom of the page since the pages isn't rendered properly if you enabled privacy settings in your browser
