@greenpeace I sincerely like the sentiment, but your protests and bad faith arguments against nuclear energy contributed strongly for the problem. Greenpeace is part of the problem.

Maybe if you hadn't spent the last 40 years fighting against nuclear power and general technological progress, but instead focused on targeting fossil extraction industries, we wouldn't be in this mess now?

@greenpeace As an example of something very simple you can do, last fall we bought some small, foldable e-scooters (from a Canadian company, Dynamic Scooter, that sells scooters that appear to be based on a Chinese company''s design). We made several trips to San Francisco by train for cultural events, rode short distances in SF, and stored the scooters in coat check
(theaters were in bike-theft hot spots). The result was saving ~60 miles of driving per trip.
