NKT@vfrmedia @Methylcobalamin @fesshole wouldn't make any difference if they did ask for details. Unless they tried to charge the card, they'd bit know, and there's plenty of fake card generators for testing that are only a Google away.
@Dss @Methylcobalamin @fesshole in UK (with fairly strict data protection laws) it would be difficult to legally justify requesting a card number *unless* you are going to charge it (usually as a £10 temporary insurance policy for the test drive), and that normally requires the car to be available and the driver present - but also obtaining and trying to use a fake card number pushes what would otherwise be classed as a prank into attempted fraud..
