I ended up in the 1940s where I made friends with a detective and participated in a decades-long sting operation to catch a murderer. After my friend died in the 1990s I returned home to where my past self had just arrived/[B&PC spoilers] and put myself in suspended animation until my past self drank the potion again. Tempbot knew but nobody else did.
