I was in an in-person Spanish exam and for some reason had decided to write the answers on the notes app on my phone, confident that it would be faster to do that and transfer the note to the computer I needed to submit from. However when I went to make the transfer, everything went wrong and I could also feel my brain was sluggish and treacly, and I spent so long trying to fix all the connection issues and so on that I ran over by 90 minutes, and probably failed the test as a result

Crime movie with an alien. In the climax most of the cast die fleeing, set to jazz with Norwegian lyrics.

It used quieter and higher-pitched instruments than normal, and the lyrics were sparse, so you could have short bits of dialogue between them without lowering the music. Don't know the genre name.

One verse translates to "My father wants to decide his tasks at work by democracy, because that's how it's done. He's going to talk himself to death."

I was back at school, and in class we had a guest surfer telling us measurements about different types of surf board. I was supposed to be drawing the surfboards on the blackboard behind him, but instead I was just doodling Entrapta from She-Ra

I was clearing out the kitchen cupboards with my mum and she found a single-portion box of Kellogg's Crunchy Nut. She said I should eat it up or throw it out, until spotting that the expiry date was in 1994 at which point she said I should definitely throw it out. I countered that these things were basically entirely sugar, and demonstrated that the plastic packet was intact, but in doing so broke the seal. I tried a couple of the flakes and they were indeed fine, so hooray

I was observing various bugs and leeches and things eating each other on the floor, invested because some can bite me and others cannot.

I was also on a grassy hill, investigating something with a police escort. But one kept putting his arm around me and trying to make me crouch, even though there was no obvious threat and none of the policemen were taking cover.

These things happened after each other in some order, and felt somehow like the same thing.

I was staying in a holiday cabin with my family, and we were having breakfast in a room with patio doors that overlooked the edge of a jungle. My dad had the door open and was listening to the sounds outside, until he said he'd heard scorpion mating sounds. We told him to close the door to avoid letting scorpions into the room, but as he went to slide it shut, we saw a little translucent-shelled one dart into the room. We spend the rest of breakfast with our feet off the floor.

I was participating in a gameshow. Two workers vs an overseer. Workers go to different places to complete tasks.
To enter those places, your outfit needs to match them. To change outfit, you need to go to apartment (shared by the workers) and unwrap a present.

Overseer can't enter buildings.If you're wearing the same color outfit as the overseer, you lose if he grabs you. Also he can transform into a werewolf, which. I know let him enter the apartment. Maybe does other things too.

I dreamt that I'd had the flooring in my bedroom replaced with slot-together laminate, but after the decorators had gone, I realised that they'd left space around the edges of the room, and all the slats just started coming apart, leaving the floor a mess. I tried to call the company but the answerphone message said they'd gone out of business.

I was living in a small cabin on a cruise ship with a random other girl who was getting stressed because the sloped ceiling meant she couldn't get her books all the way along a bookshelf on the wall. I ended up leaving the ship, wheeling with me an arcade machine filled with my belongings.

We waited for the return ship on a sandy peninsular functioning as a jetty, but before it could arrive the tide started coming in. The water was shallow but every tiny wave knocked me off my feet.

I was petting a cat that was hiding in an overturned box, and it decided to tuck my hand under its paws as it slept. It stayed there all afternoon, until I spotted another cat looking in through the window outside. The inside cat saw me looking, and got upset; it climbed up the chimney stack to get outside to attack the other one.
