I also finished the original version of Bee and Puppycat, watching the "Creator's Cut" versions of episodes 5-6 and 7-10. The art style and vibe was well established from the start, so I enjoyed that. I liked seeing how much of it was used as a framework for the Netflix reboot and continuation. Lazy in Space expanded on the lore, but the original was a solid base for it.

Finished watching Bee and Puppycat. It was cute, fun, surreal, and weird, and I liked it.

Found out the Netflix version I just watched is actually a reboot/sequel of a series originally produced partially by a Kickstarter project and later distributed on YouTube, so I'll be watching that original version next.

Three episodes into Bee and Puppycat, and it feels like Sanrio meets Katamari Damacy, with some Hanazuki thrown in for good measure. The music also reminds me of another series, but I can't place which one...

Also, Puppycat speaking in unintelligible Vocaloid was unexpected. Almost sounds like random Luka syllables.

I was Bee from #BeeAndPuppycat. I drank a random potion from an old apothecary that made me phase through time and space at random. I ended up in the 1940s where I made friends with a detective and participated in a decades-long sting operation to catch a murderer. After my friend died in the 1990s I returned home to where my past self had just arrived/[B&PC spoilers] and put myself in suspended animation until my past self drank the potion again. Tempbot knew but nobody else did.
