This image is called Light in the Dark. It was taken after 'fog hunting' in #tasmania. and driving the backroads to get back to #hobart. I had noticed that the sun was piercing through plantation forest so I hopped out to see what I could find.

It took me a couple of years to release this image but it's since become a firm favorite. A gallery visitor described it as being the hope that no matter how dark life gets, that there will always be light.

@MattPalmer It's a belter Matt, that light is exquisite 👏🏻
@stevenlawson Thanks Steven, yeah it's the light you pull over for for sure :)
It's beautiful, thank you for sharing!
@MattPalmer Una luz, un ambiente y unas telarañas que brillan como bombillas, hacen de esta fotografía, una imagen casi mágica. 📷😯
@bobfisherphoto Gracias por las amables palabras!
@MattPalmer man Matt, this one is special somehow both eerie and inviting.
@d_wallace Thank you David, I think you're spot on there :)
@MattPalmer I hate spiders but love this. I've always found it tough to incorporate their webs into photos and you did a phenomenal job here.
@tristan_todd Thanks Tristan, as often the tallest person that has walked a trail on any given day I hate their webs generally because unless I hold something in front of me they usually hit my face =P
@MattPalmer spectacular image Matt. I’m a huge sucker for small details like the spiderwebs, the light ties it all together
@MattPalmer Fabulous light and mood.
@Roentare Thank you, funny that you are fleeing from where I am based =P
