Where I just was with my fam. #MundyPark #Coquitlam #Canada
@GottaLaff Miss this province
@irfan We LOVE it here.
@GottaLaff Amazingly happy for yโ€™all! I am coming home but I think it will be #Alberta. They donโ€™t even have lakes ๐Ÿ˜ญ Thankfully, BC is only 2-3 hours away.
@irfan Isn't that the most conservative province? But glad you can go!
@GottaLaff so jealous! That's stunning.
@jcrossonhill Come visit!
@GottaLaff I wouldn't want to go home again
@jcrossonhill Why not?
@GottaLaff Well, it's a lot prettier there than Ohio. Plus, it's not in the US.

@GottaLaff

Beautiful. Hope you and your family had a lovely day! ๐Ÿ˜

Very much looking forward to some warmer weather here in southern Ontario, but thereโ€™s none in the forecast for a while yet.

@KimberlyN Thanks!!

I bet it's freezing there! It's in the 30s and 40s here, and no rain for a week! Worrisome.

@GottaLaff

Overnight tonight it will be -10 C with a windchill that makes it feel like -19 C (16 F feels like 0 F), which, believe it or not, is somewhat milder than what we experienced last week, when we had windchills of -30 C/-22 F. ๐Ÿฅถ

I have a big down-filled Goretex parka that I usually only wear a few days each winter. This winter Iโ€™ve worn my parka more often than my lightweight puffy jacket. Even our puppy has a snowsuit!

As Lucy would say, โ€œthis is bullshit!โ€ ๐Ÿคฃ

@GottaLaff lol, tell me youโ€™re not Canadian without saying youโ€™re not Canadian.

30s and 40s?

@KimberlyN @GottaLaff Iโ€™m going to Portugal. Iโ€™ll bring back warmer weather in my suitcase. I promise.

@lauriekay9

Iโ€™ve never been to Portugal, but I have some friends who love it there. Enjoy! โ˜€๏ธ

@GottaLaff

@GottaLaff Lovely. A break well-deserved, I'd say!
@Eetschrijver I needed it. I insisted on it. It was soooo nice. We went out for gingerbread lattes in the park afterwards.
@GottaLaff Like it says on the license plates!

@GottaLaff

This is why Canada has forest fires: they don't shave their trees!!!

๐Ÿ˜‰

Beautiful place!

@GottaLaff wow, That looks so beautiful!
@GottaLaff where we were camping on the weekend -- a free site less than 2 hours from Port Moody on the Canadian side.
@Hiker_Scott Gorgeous! Where?
@GottaLaff That's up Sts'ailes West (Harrison West) FSR. It's a wonderful area to play.
@Hiker_Scott What's FSR?
@GottaLaff sorry! Forest Service Road -- a gravel or hard-packed road, often with potholes, that allows you to access further into the backcountry.
@Hiker_Scott Ohhh! So safe to drive on, can take our dog?
@GottaLaff FSRs vary *widely* in their condition. But yes both Harrison West and Harrison East FSRs are both good for a regular car when conditions are dry and not snowy -- just don't go too fast and keep your eyes peeled for potholes and logging trucks.
@GottaLaff Gorgeous.
From the photos I was guessing Hoh Rain Forest National Park in Washington State. Right idea, just off by a 100 miles or so.
@nazgul Lol, but they're very similar, BC/Washington, in foresty things
