First time trying SparkSDR on #Linux Mint with my #hermeslite2 . Built-in FT8 capability (wsjt-x still needs to be installed). Got a POTA contact. Weird thing is that the radio will transmit with power (5W) doing it this way, but not under CAT control from wsjt-x itself.

@rl_dane awesome! I'm having trouble figuring out the sound inputs and outputs still. Pretty sure that's why it works inside the SparkSDR program but not when I try to get it working with wsjt-x externally. Time to figure out Pipewire I think.

Ooof, yeah. It can be a little hairy. I've heard good things about Jack, if you want to mess with yet another audio daemon. XD

@rl_dane Nope, have tried that also. Pipewire is supposed to be more user-friendly.
