@protonprivacy that's cool, but your CEO was recently big-upping US republicans. What's up with that?
Are you a pro-authoritarian company, or is that 'just' the CEO's personal stance?
Our CEO pointed this out himself not long ago over on X:

As a Swiss organization, Proton is not controlled by any individual, but by the board of our non-profit foundation, which has neutrality in its governing principles.
@protonprivacy so then, the position of the board is 180 degrees opposed to the position of the CEO on some very important topics. Because it's clear from your CEO's (earlier) tweet, as well as some in-depth doubling-down on reddit, that he is not politically neutral at all.
Shouldn't this be grounds for finding a new CEO? Will the board hold a discussion/vote over this?
@dieTasse @bazkie @protonprivacy
That "drama" isn't over yet because there was no excuse and no explanation about what it mean. Other than a political view, that's mostly a privacy and security problem. The CEO stand for someone who's one of the most privacy threats. And the presence of Musk is frightening in that matter.
Other than Andy's political call was factualy false, it's mostly against @protonprivacy primary mission. The fact that he don't see it is alarming and questioning.
