Trump is threatening ”shock and awe” next week. I fear that he’s hoping he can trigger huge protests, use that as an excuse to crack down hard, exert power over protesters—including using violence against them—to set a precedent, create fear, and ultimately shut down further efforts.

How do you unite with the virtually 50% of those that have an interest in what is happening actually want it to happen. Until things collapse enough to affect them, nothing substantial will happen.

There is no reason to believe that had they all voted, they would have voted in any different percentages to those that did vote.

But yes, an even bigger problem is the propaganda/normalization machine that led 76M to believe electing a felon was a remotely sensible act.

The law of large numbers says that the distribution would be similar. I haven't seen a representation of the demographics of those who didn't vote to see if they are similar to those who did vote.
