She just says "You know what I mean" or "By 1800 at the latest, Canadians had a sense of shared heritage and a culture that was coherent and different from British culture, and there was no serious demographic or cultural changes between 1812 and 1867."

On the up side, to hide the charred walls, the whole building was covered in a lime solution called "whitewash"... hence the modern name White House.
Since then it has become the national canter for whitewashing potentially awkward situations

He's threatening with a trade war and ceasing defense cooperation against an obvious Russian threat. What we have to do is make sure Trump's Canadian representatives don't get anywhere near government.
