@nblr I can only imagine the other two are wearing bear suits as well
@michel404 @nblr My thoughts exactly. Like, is this how bears are made?
Also, where do get such a bear suit?
@nblr Brooo words of heart..
@nblr I was recently reading something about how seasonal effective disorder probably isn’t a disorder at all, humans should slow down and “hibernate” in the winter as well, it’s just that we aren’t allowed to because of capitalism’s demands, so we call our natural process a “disorder” that needs to be fixed so we can work work work more.
@maggiejk @nblr I have SAD, and yes, it feels like fighting the urge to burrow under my blankets and hibernate. With the result of that fight being depression.
I have such work anxiety over this. I'm cold and miserable and anxious and don't want to go back to work tomorrow. I'm just gonna be open about it. Also I was noticing that I gain weight in the winter. And it's fine. I use to beat myself up for it.
I also lose weight in the spring. ... like a bear.

I realize (so late in life but better late than never) these are not problems for me but for other people.

@nblr so very much this. For…say…a bit under four years, with an option to extend.
@nblr @Heliograph Honestly, sleeping through the winter sounds amazing to me.
